Description:
Deciduous pear with fine, silvery grey willow-like leaves becoming glossy green with maturity. Known as a 'weeper' it forms a dense rounded head with branches that are fine and pendulous but irregular creating a slightly wild flowing specimen. Spring blossom is delicate creamy white. Fruit is pear-shaped, grey green but inedible. A great feature tree for smaller gardens.
